Engineering with Earthmate for a bright future together.
Founded in 2007, Earthmate® Geosynthetics, specializes in the producing, supply and installation of world class geosynthetics, such as geocomposites, geogrids, geotextiles, asphalt rehabilitation fabrics and erosion control products. Earthmate® is a leader in the geosynthetics industry for providing innovative and cost-effective solutions to support the unique challenges of civil engineering, environmental and geotechnical projects across a variety of sectors including: road construction, water and waste management, mining, oil & gas, retaining wall, containment and agriculture.
Sealing is indispensable for environmental and groundwater protection and contributes substantially to the fitness for use and service life of buildings. Especially in water protection areas the adjacent soil must be protected from possible seepage of contaminated surface water. The water is collected and fed to the appropriate recipient by the shortest path. In order to prevent seepage, the sub-grade is covered with a layer that is impermeable to water over the desired area.Mineral seals, plastic membranes and geosynthetic clay sealing liner can be used for this purpose. During installation, attention should be given to the different special requirements.
Base Reinforcement is defined within as the use of geosynthetics reinforcement in flexible pavements to support vehicular traffic over the life of a pavement structure. Primary base reinforcement benefits are to improve the service life and or obtain equivalent performance with a reduced structural section. Substantial life-cycle cost savings are possible with base reinforcement.
Filtration and Drainage layers are used in civil applications to remove moisture or fine particles from the system. Geosynthetics provide a widely accepted, effective and economic alternative to traditional aggregate & sand filtration layers.
